System scaffold erector's competency
Course objectives
The aim of this course is to instruct people who would have the need to build system scaffold structures up to a maximum platform height of 5.5 metres (7.5 metres working). It is a generic training course and therefore is suitable for any of the most popular makes of system scaffold on the market such as GKN Kwikstage or SGB Cuplok.
An in-house Erector Competency Certificate will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course questionnaire and show an acceptable level of knowledge on the system and skill with the equipment during the practical exercises.
We use our client's own equipment or equipment hired for the purpose of training. We work very closely with SGB Youngman and can arrange preferential terms for the hire of the equipment.

- Safety considerations - tying in - safe working loads - special applications
Days Two, Three, Four and Five
- Safe use of system scaffolding - erection procedure - safe use - dismantling procedure
- The law and your responsibilities
- Practical assessment and theoretical questionnaire
