Kwikstage competent erector
Course objectives
This course is designed to instruct a squad of 3 to 6 erectors to build Kwikstage System Scaffold Structures up to a maximum platform height of 5.5 metres.
Delegates complete theoretical and practical assessments which lead to the award of a Competent Erector Certificate valid for 3 years.
We use our client's own equipment or equipment hired for the purpose of training.

- Components indentification, use and inspection
- Scheme designs and component quantification
- Basing out, corners and returns
- Safe erection, adaptation and dismantling procedures
- SG4 code of practice for fall protection and harness donning and inspection
- Stability factors - bracing, tying, rakers, butress towers and loading
- Safe access provisions - ladder towers and safety gates
- Inspection, tagging and statutory document completion
Please note that loading towers and staircase towers are not covered on the Basic Erector course. These can be covered on an additional day.
