Traditional Scaffold Appreciation

Course objectives

This course aims to enable people to improve their current level of knowledge of basic access scaffolding. It is not intended to provide in-depth knowledge of erection of scaffolding.  The course covers the requirements stated in BS5973 in terms of scaffold construction, stability, loading and use.

This course also covers the legal requirements for the inspection of temporary scaffold structures made of steel in the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
