Course objectives
This course is designed for Supervisors and others who would have responsibility for the Health & Safety of site operatives, and for the safe working methods used on Construction sites.
It covers the role of the Supervisor, and the legal responsibilities such a role carries.
General hazards & the associated risks found on construction sites are covered and with the aid of slides and video programmes points out remedial actions required to ensure the safety of all site operatives and members of the public. Risk assessment exercises are carried out leading to the formulation of safe working method statements through a series of syndicate group workshops.
