Mobile aluminium tower erector competency
Course objectives
The main aim of this course is the development of practical skills.
This course teaches the necessary Knowledge & Skills required to display competence when Erecting, Using, Moving, Dismantling and Inspecting Mobile Aluminium Towers.
It is designed for the erector/user only, it does not instruct on Risk Assessments or Safe Working Method Statements which is the duty of a Supervisor. We strongly recommend to all our clients that our Laminated Identification Cards are used. These I.D. cards cross reference with the certificate number, this allows immediate on-site verification of assessed competency training having been taken with mobile towers.
The two awarding bodies for this certification are CITB and PASMA with both being acceptable within the Construction Industry.
We can arrange for CITB certification if preferred at a special fee for up to 10 men.
The course has CITB accreditation for grant purposes and is based around a CITB video programme dealing with the seven major hazards associated with using mobile aluminium towers in the Real World!!
