Light access inspection competency
Course objectives
This unique course has been designed to impart the necessary Knowledge & Skills required to allow designated people to inspect & control the issue of light access plant, prior to issue and on return, so as to comply with the legal requirements set out in the The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
This course would best suit those persons who are in a position of responsibility for the issue of, and control of, plant on construction sites, plant hire operations, plant maintenance and large organisations who support an in-house plant hire operation.
The main issues addressed under this legislation are the checking and issue of equipment which is: Fit For Use, Fit For Its Intended Purpose, and Legally Compliant.
