Course objectives

This course is intended for construction operatives who require a general overview of Health & Safety issues on site.

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

• State their own legal responsibilities and the responsibilities of their employer
• Describe why legislation is required and how it is enforced
• State specific construction hazards and how they are controlled
• Help achieve better practical standards of Health & Safety on site

A CITB certificate of training will be awarded to all participants on this course.
