Access Equipment Safety Audit & Inspection

This service has been provided at the request of many of our clients who carry their own stocks of ladders, steps, trestles & staging and tower equipment.

The service involves annual checks on ladders, steps, trestles & staging where each component inspected is tagged according to what we find as follows:

  • Unfit for use
  • Unfit for use but repairable
  • Scrap


The necessary documentation verifying fitness for use is provided.

Mobile Aluminium Tower Equipment is inspected and reported upon once every 12 months and detailed reports on the condition are submitted.

All our inspections are carried out in accordance with the requirements contained in the:

  • Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
  • Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) regulations 1996
  • Work at Height regulations 2005


Regular inspection work equipment is required by LAW to verify the equipment is:

  • Fit for use
  • Fit for purpose
  • Legal compliance
