Access Training Services was established in 1997 by Dave Palmer after leaving the post of Training Manager with SGB Youngman. Since this time the business has grown substantially into one of the country's leading specialist On-Site training resources.

Having access to some of the country's best freelance instructors in their field gives us the largest spread of Health & Safety topics of any single training resource in the U.K.

Our strength lies in the fact that we provide our services at our client's premises or on-site using our client's own or hired-in equipment, hence saving our clients time and money.

All our instructors are very experienced Skills & Knowledge assessors and by training and assessing the competence of workers to use access equipment safely, allows us to provide our clients with a very high comfort level in respect of the safety of their workforce and also their compliance with current legislation.

Access Training Services is a fully accredited C.I.T.B. training resource with Dave Palmer being the Principal Instructor (Northern) for Scaffolding and Working @ Height training.

We are constantly expanding our portfolio, and the services we offer, but we will only include training services into our range when we feel they have been developed enough to meet our exacting standards.

Many of our courses are accredited by the CITB. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding any of the courses you feel may be of benefit to you. We work very closely with C.I.T.B. and can obtain grant approval for most of the safety based courses that we run for levy paying members.

We are firm supporters of the fact that TRAINING does make a DIFFERENCE. We believe that training is an on-going process and we therefore provide refresher training for all our practical skills-based courses, which we recommend are taken every three years.

We also provide our clients with a Saturday morning service. Although there is a small surcharge for this service it is very popular as it allows maximum productivity during the normal working week to be maintained. Please enquire when booking your course.
